The Money Coach
Meet Christy
Money Coach and Simplifying Expert
In 2000, at 19 years old, I got married and we purchased our first home. That same year I started a job at one of the biggest credit card companies. It didn’t take me long to see how much debt the average American holds. I learned the sneaky tactics the credit card companies use to lure you in and how they keep you in debt. But, I also learned tactics that you can use to reduce your debt and pay it off.
Now over twenty years later, I am doing the one job I never thought I would be able to afford. At the end of 2017, I quit my job and became a stay-at-home mother to our busy little boy. Reflecting on how I got my dream job and how we can afford to live on one income in one of the most expensive areas in California, I realized it came down to a few things. First, because of my experience at the credit card company, I learned how to stay out of credit card debt and make sound financial decisions. Secondly, we always lived within our means, so we were able to build our savings and wealth. And lastly, we have always kept our life simple and never burdened ourselves down with material things.
I have always had the desire and knowledge to help others achieve their financial goals. Now that my son is getting bigger, I have the time to do just that. So let me help you take control of your finances so that you too can enjoy the life that financial freedom brings.
